Why Hair?

Since childhood I have been fascinated by the relationship we have with our hair and the hair of everyone around us.  It isn't just something to wear- it's memory, identity, culture, art and self-expression. Helping others see themselves more clearly has always interested me more than simply how they look. 

This fascination led me down many creative paths through art, beauty, design and fashion.  After being licensed in cosmetology in 2009 I realized that no matter where my creativity took me  I would always come back to the duality and complexity of hair and its ability to transform the way we see ourselves.

Today I bring together my art background, thoughtful analysis, years of experience and constant curiosity in people, lifestyle, history and culture.  Every appointment is a collaboration to create hair that feels authentic to you- something be are both proud to share.

I have always said

Hair reflects of our health , history and experiences, our culture our lifestyle, and the stories we tell about ourselves.  As we grow and evolve, our hair does too. I believe beautiful hair should never come at the expense of heathy hair. 

 Hair is alive with meaning but ironically dead.  Therefore it only holds the power and importance you give it.

Like everything in life hair is only ever absolutely perfect in rare and precious moments. Lets find them together.
